What the Ways to Custom Print USB Flash Drive LOGO?

USB flash drive becoming more and more popular for company promotional. As a practical usb storage device, we can upload the company's products, services, history, and other information, as well as we can custom printed company's logo on the shell.

 

There are thousands of styles of thumb drive, and there are different printing methods for different LOGO's and materials. The following is the printing method chosen by most of our customers based on our company's experience.  The best 10 printing methods listed here are the ones we often use, but there are also other methods that are not very commonly used. 

 

1. Silk screen printing

 

Silk screen suitable for flat printing, the surface is curved, and round shapes cannot be silk screen printed. So metal USB, plastic USB, leather USB, bamboo and wood, soft pvc USB and jewelly USB can be silk screen.

 

Silk screen is the most popular printing method. It is suitable for LOGOs with less than four colors. Too many colors will cause poor printing. 

 

 

2. Color printing

 

The color printing is mostly used to make credit cards USB sticks or logo's with complex colors. (Some flat surfaces of metal and plastic can also be color printing). 

The surface that needs color printing must be a very light color. If you do color printing on a dark surface, the effect will not be achieved. The advantage of color printing is that you don’t have to care about the amount of color or whether it is a gradient.

 

 

3. Pad Printing

 

Mostly used for pen shape USB driver and round shape USB pen drives.

 

Pad printing is printed on a curved surface. The pad printing process does not support logos with complex colors, which will lead to poor results.

 

 

4. Roll printing

 

Roll printing is mainly printed on round surfaces.

 

 

5. Laser engraving

 

Mainly used for metal USB sticks or wooden USB flash drive, Plastic thumb drive can also be used.

Laser has no color and shows the background color of the casing material.

 

 

6. Embossed

 

The embossed LOGO is made on the leather usb flash drive, and it cannot be done on cases made of other materials.

 

 

7. Gold stamping

 

Generally used for printing packaging boxes, leather USB memory sticks can be printed on, but this is rarely used for U disks made in other styles.

 

 

8. Epoxy Glue

 

The Epoxy LOGO is made by making a piece of glue and then sticking the glue on the USB disk. Some LOGO's are too complex and not suitable for other printing processes. You can choose to use glue, but there must be space on the USB flash memory for glue.

 

 

9. Lable stickers

 

Lable stickers are similar to glue, but cheaper than glue.

 

 

10. 3D laser internal engraving

 

This mainly recognizes crystal glowing logo USB flash drives.
